Verdict: the Conair ExtremeSteam CNRGI300 is a sensible mid-price iron for mixed weekly ironing. It has 1875W, the most power of the corded irons in our best steam irons guide, plus a nano titanium soleplate, a pointed detailer tip, vertical steam, an anti-calc collector and self-clean. Conair does not publish steam output figures, so you cannot compare its steam directly with Rowenta.
This is a research-based review. We have not tested the CNRGI300 hands-on. Specifications come from Conair and the Amazon.com listing, compared with the other irons we cover. Figures Conair does not publish are marked “not published”.
The CNRGI300 is our “best mid-price all-rounder” in the best steam irons guide. Conair says its irons carry the Good Housekeeping Seal.

How we chose these picks
We compared the manufacturers’ published specifications and the Amazon.com listing for each model (sources: Manufacturer product page and Amazon.com listing (checked October 2026)). Where a maker does not publish a figure, we say “not published” rather than guess. We checked that every product was on sale in the US when this page was last updated, and we re-check stock every month. We do not hands-on test products ourselves, and we say so on every review. Commission from retailer links never affects which products we pick. Read how we research.

Key specs explained
1875W. The highest wattage of the corded irons we compare. More power helps the soleplate heat up and recover between bursts of steam, which keeps steam drier on long sessions.
Nano titanium soleplate. A coated plate designed for glide. As with any coating, avoid ironing over zips and metal buttons.
Detailer tip. The pointed nose gets between buttons, into pleats and around collars and cuffs.
Anti-calc collector and self-clean. Scale from tap water is the usual reason older irons start spitting. An anti-calc collector catches minerals and the self-clean function flushes the steam chamber. Follow Conair’s manual for how often to run it.
Vertical steam and auto shut-off. Vertical steam refreshes hanging clothes. Auto shut-off is listed, but the timings are not published in the listing we checked.
Weight. About 2.9 lb on Amazon, much lighter than the 4.5 lb Rowenta DW9440.
Not published: steam boost, continuous steam, cord length and tank capacity.
