IronsExpert is an independent buying-guide site about clothes irons, steam stations, garment steamers and ironing boards. We started in 2016 and rebuilt the site in 2026 so that every guide reflects models currently sold in the US.
Who writes IronsExpert
Guides are written and updated by the IronsExpert Team, a small editorial team that also publishes a separate UK edition at ironsexpert.co.uk for products sold in the UK. The two sites share a name and an editorial method; product picks are researched separately for each country.
How we research
Our guides are research-based. We compare manufacturers’ published specifications (power, steam output, soleplate, tank, cord, safety features), check that each model is currently on sale at Amazon.com. We do not run a testing lab and we do not present research as hands-on testing. Where a specification is not published by the maker, we say “not published” rather than guess.
How we make money
As an Amazon Associate, IronsExpert earns from qualifying purchases. Brands cannot pay to appear in a guide or change a ranking. Full details are on our disclosure page.
Corrections and contact
If you spot a mistake, a discontinued model or a broken link, email [email protected] or use our contact page. We check every report and correct the page where needed.
