Overall a good buy, solid product!
After 2 uses, here is my initial feedback. I will update the review after a few months of usage. Before and after pictures of a lightly worn but heavily creased 95% cotton shirt are attached (after ~3 minutes of steaming per side)So overall: can any steamer completely replace a solid steam iron? NO! But this steamer does a great job of rejuvenating and penetrating wrinkles on clothing of different material. Assembly and setup is a breeze (5 minutes at most) and as indicated in the manual, the steamer takes about a minute to heat up and produce steam (some crackling in regular use but that is normal). There is only one steam level but by my estimation so far, it is adequate for most fabrics including delicates. The telescopic handle is a good concept, however the reason I am deducting a star is that it will require most average height folk (5 ft 6 and above) to squat while steaming the lower ends of garments. Additionally, if you are steaming long dresses or overcoats they are more than likely to drape over the floor even at the maximum height of the pole. Some users have reported water spitting, however, if you take care not to fill the water level beyond max and also, use the steamer only in a vertical, up-and-down motion and not horizontally as indicated in the manual, you should have no such issues.I am impressed with the consistency of the steam production and when using the fabric brush attachment, the steam does penetrate different fabrics efficiently. Yet to use the other attachment including the lint and the crease but will do so over the next few months.
